THE FARM TO GLASS IS A SELF DRIVE TOUR.
The first stop is at Eau Claire Distillery in Turner Valley where you will tour the distillery and taste their award-winning spirits. From 1pm to 2pm.
Visit us for a behind the scenes look at how spirits are made. Your tour includes a visit into our working distillery amidst our beautiful, German made copper distilling towers, a visit into our exclusive dunnage barrel warehouse and a tasting of Eau Claire products, including some which are available only at the distillery.
At 2pm, you will make your way to the Bar U Ranch National Historic site where your hour guided tour will start at 3pm. All costs are covered in the ticket price. No payment of the Bar U Ranch Site fee is needed upon arrival.
See exactly where we farm the grain used in our horse farmed rye projects and explore one of the largest collections of original buildings in Canada. Experience life on the ranch from 100 years ago from a Percheron drawn wagon ride to learning how to saddle a horse.
The Bar U Ranch is the only Parks Canada-administered National Historic Site that commemorates the importance of ranching to Canada. Founded in 1882 as the Northwest Cattle Company, the Bar U was one of the first and most enduring of the large corporate ranches established in southern Alberta.
