HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below.
Service Providers
We use trusted providers to run our business, including ecommerce, payment processing, shipping and fulfilment, email and text messaging, customer service, website hosting, and analytics. They may only use your information to provide services to us and must protect it.
Advertising and Analytics Partners
We work with advertising and analytics partners, such as Google and Meta, to understand how our website is used and to show you relevant ads. This may include:
- Cookies and pixels that record your activity on our website
- Sharing contact information, such as your email address or phone number, in a protected (hashed) form so a partner can match it to its users. This lets us show you relevant ads, avoid showing you ads, find similar audiences, and measure results.
These partners also handle information under their own privacy policies. You can opt out at any time. See "Your Choices and Rights" below.
Legal and Business Reasons
We may share information when required by law or a regulator (including the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission and other provincial liquor authorities), to protect our rights, customers, or others, or as part of a merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business.
COOKIES AND TRACKING
We use three types of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential: needed for the site to work, such as your cart and checkout
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the site
- Advertising: help us and our partners show relevant ads and measure results
You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where available, our cookie banner. You can also manage interest-based ads through these tools:
- Google Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com)
- Meta ad preferences, in your Facebook or Instagram settings
- Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada (youradchoices.ca)
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no common standard for these signals, so our website may not respond to them.
YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Marketing Messages
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email, or reply STOP to marketing texts. We will process your request within 10 business days, as required by CASL. We will still send messages about your orders and account.
Interest-Based Advertising
You can ask us to stop sharing your contact information with advertising partners by contacting us. You can also use the tools listed under "Cookies and Tracking."
Access, Correction, and Consent
Under Canadian privacy law, you can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and how it has been used or shared
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Withdraw your consent to how we use your information, subject to legal or contractual limits
We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity. If withdrawing consent affects a service we provide, we will explain what that means for you.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Our alcohol products are intended only for adults of legal drinking age in their province or territory (18 in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec, and 19 in all other provinces and territories). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the legal drinking age, and we will delete it if we learn we have.
WHERE YOUR INFORMATION IS STORED
Our service providers may store and process your information outside Canada, including in the United States. While there, it may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities under local laws. We use contracts and other safeguards to protect it.
HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, or as required for legal, tax, or regulatory reasons. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption during checkout and limited access to personal information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. If a privacy breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the appropriate privacy commissioner as required by law.
