Every drop we make at Eau Claire Distillery embodies the unique provenance of our Turner Valley home. Rich Alberta soil yielding prized Alberta barley. Glacial melt flowing from Mount Rae’s Sheep River to bring clear water – eau claire – to our distillery door. Location is everything.

We harness nature’s bounty using both old world horse farming methods and new world distilling techniques. Groundbreaking with tradition to create balanced, flavourful spirits. 

From Farm to Glass

Every one of our spirits is produced using barley we grow and harvest ourselves. Unlike most distilleries, we raise our barley from seed and see it through to round, complex and balanced drops. Add to this our Alberta Saskatoon berries and rose hips, and you get a true taste of our Canadian Rockies home.
